I had an opportunity for a wall makeover in my garage/workshop. I wanted one side to be relaxing and inspirational, so the other side needed storage options kicked up a notch.

For inspiration, I applied some favorite family photos to wood using a decoupage technique, cut them out with a table saw or scroll saw, as needed, and used a router to put a small profile on the edges.

For storage, I made pegboard “leaves” to organize my tools and hung them using threaded rods, brackets and perforated angle iron. I would suggest simply using double action hinges if you want to do something similar.

Now, all of the essential tools are right at hand. I just turn a page to reveal other tools to choose from.
