My son Matt came to me wanting to know if I could build a couple of shelves for his tennis shoes (not just any tennis shoe "jordans") So considering the available space in his room I came with the idea for a free standing shoe rack and the opportunity to use my ryobi 18v cordless tools. My chop saw and speed saw made this project quite simple. The jigsaw and sander made the shelf curves to create a little style. A little help from my impact driver and wood glue the shoe rack was assembled and my sons' shoes have a cool place to be stored.
