I'm going to sink this sewing machine into this desk to give myelf a flat surface for quilting. I will cut a hole in the top of desk, using the base of the machine as a template. I will remove the desk drawer and replace it with a screwed in platform for the base of the machine. I will cut an insert to fill in the desktop hole around the needle arm of the machine.

  • let me know how it goes, i used cabinets to create a base and put a wood top on for sewing but now machine sits too high, wls like to see how it works when you cut hole to "drop" your machine
