My wife had me make a plant stand that she could hang potted plants on. Well, that lasted about half a season then I was stuck with this rolling obstacle around the shop that was forever in the way. I had seen numerous posts of the charging and storage stations that you can hang your cordless drills and drivers from and my gears began to churn. I simply made slots on the individual level for the tools I have and played around with some placement. The charger helps me remember to pull the batteries and put them back after use. No more waking up to a new day only to find most of my tools still sitting out with low charges. The fan on top swivels 360’ and the power strip provides a close plug in power point anywhere in the shop since the whole assembly rolls. The legs are 2x6 and the post is 4x4. The great news is that I made 2 of these for the wife! I have plans for the other one to hold paper towels, dispenser for latex gloves, all my paint guns and air tools as well as a small shelf for the stand that holds my HVLP gravity feed guns while I’m filling them or in between spraying. I’ll keep you posted! In the meantime I’m keeping my eyes out for some cool Ryobi decals that I can put on the “Tower of Power!”
