My wife got on a new furniture kick, so I had the bright idea to tell her I would build what she wanted. I am pretty handy, but have never built furniture. She actually sold our dining room table to buy lumber for the new dining room table (which will be shared with the world soon) so I had to get on the ball. I really enjoyed making this table, and I also realized I have a bit of a natural ability when it comes to this stuff.

  • This turned out fantastic! What kind of stain/finish is did you use?

  • I used MinWax pre-tinted classic grey. I then did a rough scuff of the edges to give it a worn look. I still have to seal it, thinking of using a satin wax sealer.
