Repurposed Dresser to Media cabinet

I had this vintage dresser that no-one seemed to want so I decided to make something different. I removed the top drawers but found that the three drawers created a square frame and by removing the top drawer left the frame open so I had to remove the center drawer and move the top drawer down to create the square. With the top drawer being moved to the center the drawers did not fit properly and would not close completely. I ended up using paint sticks for the drawers to slide along because I do not have a table saw to create the right depth slide. I sanded the top and used an oak stain and polyurethanethe on both the top and on the tongue and groove boards that were used in place of the top drawers. I am so pleased with how this media center turned out and have received excellent positive feedback!
