Rental nightmare

  • March 30, 2012

A friend asked me if I could help him fix a sagging floor is his rental property. So the nightmare began. Basiclly the floor joist rotted out where they sat on the foundation wall. I cut off the rotted would, jacked the floor up level and added new would and huge lag bolts to secure the pieces together. There was no basement which made getting in the area very hard. I used ryobi's 18 one+ recip saw, cicular saw, compact drill and new impact wrench with lithium batteries. I also used ryobi's 5" laminate saw. I was very happy with the out come.
