Hey friends!  With all of the building that we do, we are constantly putting our scraps to use rather than throwing them in the burn pile. One of our favorite things to do with scraps is build frames! Check out this DIY frame we built using a just a saw, hot glue gun and some reclaimed wood scraps.

  1. Project Steps

    1. Step: 1

The first step is to making your cuts. We used the Ryobi 18V miter saw for this step.

    2. Step: 2

Next, we created our frame. Attach all four corners using the hot glue gun.

    3. Step: 3

Now attach the top boards side by side on top of the frame. You will also attach these boards with the hot glue gun.

    4. Step: 4

Once that is finished, you can either add a finish or attach your frames. We used reclaimed lumber, so we didn’t want to add a finish. We attached our frames using the hot glue gun.

    5. Step: 5

Now add your cute pics and your done! You turned your scraps into something super cute!

  • I do a lot of things from pallets, I'm showing this to my wife. Maybe now we both can have pallet projects together. Thank you Shanty 2 Chic
