Raised deck

Built a raised deck for an above ground pool. Built entirely with Ryobi 1+ 18 volt tools. Tools are 5/14 skill saw, impact gun and sawzall.

  • Wow! This was an impressive undertaking! Thank you for including the pictures of the process while you were building. It's always a treat to see a project from start to finish. The railings look great- they give the deck almost a nautical feel. Were the above-ground concrete anchors tricky to work with?

    • No, not at all. These piers had the metal straps on them and I initially set them where I wanted them and stood the 4X4 posts on them and put in 2 screws per post so they would stand up. Then I adjusted for plumb and square between the posts and completed all the screws. Toughest part was carrying them. Wheelbarrow worked great.
