Queen Size Loft Bed
This is a queen size loft bed with three bookshelves and a custom armoire built in. Made almost entirely out of maple. Posts are made from stairway spindles. Workcenter underneath. Shelves are all adjustable. Custom designed and built from scratch. A lot of fun to build.

I would love to make this for my daughter or something similar. I would I get plans for this? I am new to this site as well
I found a generic design for a bookcase and changed it to the way I liked it. The rest was just simply using a tape measure for the mattress frame to get the size. This really was a "custom" design. I could probably put together measurements of all the individual pieces. This entire bed could actully be taken apart and used as separate pieces (3 bookcases, one armoire and the bed).
