Project fun decor

I currently have Interior design & woo working business that started out as a small endeavor to raise money for JDRF, the non profit I work that helps children & adults living with type one Diabetes. The idea came about when I was working with a client and her interior design for a new house and we had a big blank wall. I was trying to figure out a way to fill up the space with something unique. I began doing some research online and came across these octagon shelves! While I wish I could claim this genius idea, I just can't, but I did think about the fact this was an inexpensive and easy build! So I once again headed off to my very HOT workshop and began making these shelves. This first try was an epic fail but I quickly figured out that I needed to cut the pieces at a 30 degree angle. From a time stand point, it is a quick project but NOT having a nail gun added a bit of extra time as I had to hand nail each piece. As you can see from the finished project, they came out well and I was able to make these bad boys for less than $10. ❤️
