Privacy planters

Friends of mine live on a corner lot with a chain link fence, and no privacy for their kids or sitting in a patio. They asked if I could I could fix that....here's what I came up with!

Awesome solution! These will provide plenty of planting space and privacy. The lattice would make a great vine trellis too!

Thank you for this idea. With a bit of modification to your plan I can put a planter on the end of my side porch and attach a trellis for a climbing flowering vine. The end of the porch is only 24' from the street and faces West. I have been searching for a way to attach a sturdy trellis to the end of a concrete porch and I think this will do it nicely. Now, I have a way to grow a privacy and shade screen that will add beauty to my home.
