Pendulum Chimed Wall Clock

A friend of mine had one he bought for his wife, so my wife wanted me to make her one. So I took a few measurements, got the name of the company off the clock works and of course it was a quartz battery operated clock. I ordered the style she wanted when it arrived I finished designing the clock. As you can see I went with butt joints, for my first clock I didn't do too bad I chose the wrong hinges and set them about 1/8 to 3/16 off but because of the style I chose I can't adjust these. Normally I would plug the holes with dowel pins, tooth picks, what ever fit I would glue them in sand stain and remount the hinges. But I am going to have to change the style and since I allowed for larger ones it will be easy once I get around to it.
