• Yes! That's a perfect solution, especially for those tools that don't fit perfectly on standard peg hooks. Looks great!

• • Hello JNash703. I do not have any formal plans but will go over my build. For the Shelf and supporting wall brace, I use Weaber 1/2" X 6" X 3' poplar boards purchased at Home Depot (Model# 27369). I cut the size about .5 inches larger than my tool (Sides and Depth) and then cut wall support the same width and 3" long.
    
     Place a bead of Wood Glue along back edge of shelf and adhere to edge of wall support as it will form an "L" shape. I then cut some shelf brackets for support using the same Weaber board. My supports are .5" wide and I cut a 45 degree angle on top and bottom. Wood Glue the angled brackets to the underside of the shelf and back wall support.
    
    For the trim around the shelf, I use Weaber Poplar boards sized at .25" Thick X 1.5" Wide. Cut to fit around the sides and front of the shelf and Wood Glue them to the edges of the shelf.
    
    To hang the shelf, I use "L" screws purchased at Home Depot. (Drill a pilot home for them and space them apart even whole number intervals such as 4, 5, or 6 inches) Thread in the screws and you should be ready to mount.
    
    For lighter accessories, I was able to get by with just the Wood Glue, but used Brad Nails / Small Screws with the glue for heavier items such as my Jig Saw. (Note: Did not have to use Screws / Nails on the brackets or trim, just attaching shelf to wall support).

  • JNash703, I did forget one thing. You will notice a 45 Degree notch on the back trim pieces. This makes it easier to mount as you will need to angle the shelf to approximately 45 Degrees to mount the "L" Screw into the PegBoard.
