Kids have grown so with gfs our small patio table was outgrown. I drew up plans to meet our needs and began teaching my youngest the joy of woodworking. The project changed with his questions and suggestions. All base wood is 2x4. The legs were kerf cut to join two pieces together. The Frame we used my roybi plunge router to make a shelf for the surface boards to lay into. Our only error the top boards needed to be 46 1/2 when we came up with 46 total we had to adapt. Luckily a piece of scrap from another project fit the width. With the precise cuts from my roybi table saw it looks intentional and actually round the project out. First BBQ over have requests for 2 more patio tables for their homes
