Patio Pallet Couch

The wife had been seeing furniture made from pallets and really wanted a couch for the front patio. For a Mothers Day gift I sourced some pallets from my work and together we came up with a design. The hardest part was getting the pallets apart. The nails that are used to put them together don't come out easily, and it was a challenge to not ruin the wood when separating the parts that I needed to. Every one so far has loved the couch and enjoys using it. It can convert to a three seat couch, the center section is removable and can be stored under the couch. We have a third cushion to take the place of the insert. I found that the bottom of the seat needed additional slats added to make for a comfortable seat. The back rest did not need additional slats to be comfortable. We have also decided to upgrade the cushions to thicker cushions as the current ones are a bit thin and get uncomfortable.
