As a single mom of 2, I tend to do a lot of DIY projects to minimize cost and maximize home projects, so when I came across a chevron pattern pallet table on Pinterest I knew I had to have it. My biggest challenge was getting the boards to all the same uniform thickness. I used the Ryobi portable hand planer which worked great, except I learned I could've saved so much time if I had invested in a tabletop planer. I bought the Ryobi cordless brad nailer for this project and fell in love with it, as I do with all my tools as soon as I use them. I also purchased the Ryobi 10" sliding miter saw for the mitered cuts down the center of the table. What an exciting tool! I have learned through home renovations and now my pallet projects, that having the right tool for the job makes *all* the difference in the world. Can't wait to save up for a planer/jointer so I can make another table to hopefully sell and support my tool addiction. I love Ryobi brand and am proud to recommend it to my DIY friends.
