This project started out of necessity, after my wife decided to redo the old ottoman. Unfortunately, after pulling off the fabric (it had been glued on) what was left was a disaster! And being that it was particle board it was going to be almost impossible to salvage. So it was pallet wood to the rescue!
I used the old ottoman as a size template to cut the pallet wood and built a new box. After a bit of sanding and staining, we cut the foam a little from the top and added new fabric. The final goal is to use burlap.
So in one day we went from a big "uh-oh" to a victorious "ta-da"!
