pallet challenge kid chaise lounger

  • August 30, 2016

I started with a pallet we had in our garage, cut it apart with a sawzal. I cut my base to desired length with a 40 degree angle. Then I used my brad nailer to attach the top pieces of the chair. I had a few scrap pieces left so I added a little table!

  • What a great idea! You really made great use out of every bit of that pallet! Did you have to do a lot of prep work to the pallet wood to get it ready for this application?

  • Thanks! It was a super quick project! The month got away from me and I wanted to get it in before the challenge ended! Not much prep at all just getting the pallet cut apart and all the pieces cut down. As much as I love the natural wood look I think I will end up painting part of it to avoid any splinters for the little one!

  • It will look great painted! We'd love to see the pics if you go that route!
