My wife wanted to have an outdoor furniture to accompany our grill. And since we're on a budget she concluded that "WE" (meaning me, myself and I) shall do a DIY to save money. I'm nowhere near proficient in building stuff, but I have the tools so might as well use it. She found a plan at Ana White's website, printed it out and "I" bought the necessary materials. And the rest as they say it....is history, albeit a tough one at that.

This was my very first time building furniture out from scratch, daunting and stressful to say the least. My only saving grace is that I have bought a 10" Ryobi Compound Miter Saw a couple of years back that I used to build my photography studio. The saw really came in handy especially with the wider boards. Made my life and the build super easy.

The project is still ongoing, but I'd like to share part of the end result of my blood, sweat and tears.
