Our front porch was a mess of toys, umbrellas and gardening tools. I searched for a storage solution that would have curb appeal from the street, but everything I found was either plastic or out of my price range. I decided to make my own storage bench, so we can store everything out of sight and have seating out front when watching the kids play. I used my Ryobi circular saw to cut the plywood pieces to make a long box, my Ryobi brad nailer to attach the trim pieces and my Ryobi drill to put it all together. The lid is made of cedar boards, which are more weather resistant and able to handle our wet winters. Now our front porch looks amazing, and everything is put away where it belongs!
