Our youngest daughter wanted to have her wedding reception in our back yard. I came up with a vision of what I would like to see and in March 2016 we started our major makeover. My husband had worked with tools but other than normal household tools my daughter and I had no experience. For 10 weekends we worked long days building our new 800 sq ft deck. I got so comfortable using the tools that I also built a bar, barstools and seating areas. For having no prior woodworking experience I'm extremely happy with our finished deck and entertainment area. The wedding reception was amazing and the guest could not believe that the bride and her mom and dad built such a complex and beautiful deck.
