Old Shed turned Man Cave in quiet backyard

When we moved into our house we almost tore this shed down because it was in such bad shape. Over time though I was able to rehab it into the perfect workspace for me by replacing the roof, adding the awning, replacing the window and pouring a concrete slab around it. Trainging the flowering plum tree over it helped it become a beautiful piece of our backyard as well as an enjoyable space to be creative.

Inside, live edge slab pieces hold the chargers, shelve tools and create a small work area in the window above organizing trays. Other shelves are made from old drawers hung on the wall and a wraparound ceiling storage area makes efficient use of the shed’s small 9’x12’ area.

Outside, a smaller cedar closet built into the fence houses multiple 40v Ryobi yard tools that fit well into the compact space.
