Mom needed some shade on the patio. Surprised to find that conduit could slide inside the PVC pipe for strength. Spent some time playing with angled connectors to arrive at final design to ensure strength. Frame dimensions were dictated by tarp size. Mom loved it. More design time than build time. Easy to replicate now.
