I have completely remodeled a 1973 rambler style home and one of the last things to do was to add a new deck. I built the deck off the back of what was the old single car garage that is now the living room. The Deck is 16' x 16' with a 2' x 6' build out to house the natural gas grill. The labor to do the project was mine with a little help from my son to hang the stringers. The deck was designed by Home Depot with my input.
