Having a single garage doesn't leave much space for a car and tools, so I had to get creative. First I put up some metal cabinets, then built a very long work bench with doors. Put in a 60 gallon two stage three phase oil fed Air compressor with air lines on each side of the garage including thru the wall for outside on my carport. all with filters, water separators oil feeders and adjustable gauges at each station, plus a 30' reel air line outside. Everything rolls with the exception of my air compressor which is bolted to the floor with thick rubber vibration resistant pads. Put up multiple florescent lights in key positions for the perfect light anywhere in the garage at each work station, including reel drop light from the ceiling and track lighting. With a gravity fed spray rig and every air tool you could need for working on engines or body work, including an arc welder and a mig welder, plus all of the wood tools I need to be able to build anything I want.
