We needed more beds and space in the kids' rooms as we await a call for foster-to-adopt to grow our family by one more! My oldest was more than excited to get a bunk bed made by mom for his room. The headboard was made of extra boards I had from old projects (barnwood, pine, cherry) and the rest is pine, but only cost a total of $50 in lumber! A definite win-win!
