This project was quite an under taking. First, I used the Ryobi 18v cordless reciprocating saw to cut away the old closet frame and the drywall of the bedroom to make room for the new closet doors. The Ikea doors are made to hang on Ikea closets, but since I didn't have that setup, I used my 18v circular saw to cut 2x4 to make the mounting frame. Then I used the saw to custom cut the sliding rails. Mounted the rails with the 18v power drill/driver. I used the 18v speed saw to cut the smaller trim and the 18v power sander to smooth the trim. The project took about 3 weekends to complete, but the best part is hanging the sliding doors that the Ikea salesman said could be done. And now we have am open closet design that looks like a millions bucks!
