Do you have Minecraft fans at your house? I still don't 'get' it, but my two youngest LOVE it. My daughter asked me to build her a small display for her figures. I think she plays with them, but their main function is to collect dust. ;) Her only request was that it also house her Minecraft books and that it doesn't look too "smooth." "Because real building stuff isn't perfect, Mommy!" Done and done. She is very happy with the finished project. My only regret is not pre-building the display BEFORE hanging. In all honesty, I didn't have a plan. I wanted to see it come together on the wall. I kept her figures close by to make sure they fit, and my 10 year old wasn't far away with her opinion. I LOVE that they are off the floor. Oh- her room already had green stripes.
