Crib

We have our first baby on the way, so I had my wife send me a few cribs that she liked. I then took those and designed this crib in SketchUp. We used 2x4s for the frame and 1" dowels for the bars. The feet were cut out of a 2x6. Each face is held together with mortise and tenon joints with glue. The faces are connected using threaded inserts and bolts so it's easy to take apart and move when necessary. I used the same threaded inserts to put 3 different height settings in. To adjust, just take the bolts out and put them in the height you want. Lay a piece of plywood across those bolts for the mattress to sit on.
