Wanted something special to give to the wife that would be long lasting, different, and made by me. I found a plan on a DIY site and thought it was neat. Got some thin metal from home depot, cut into pieces, hammered it some, heated the pieces up, and shaped with some jewelry pilers. Hard on the hards with the sharp edges. She liked the flowers a lot and they have been on the mantel ever since.
