Megan's Console Table

  • January 13, 2017

I built this table for a friend who needed a console table in her living room. It was my first build for someone other than myself. I used Ana White's plans for a rustic X console table. I loved the challenge of the X's because my 7 & 1/4" miter only cuts up to 45 degree angles, and I needed 50 degree cuts. So I had to learn how to use a speed sqaure real quick! I also loved the finishing process. Layering and distressing with such a vibrant teal was a lot of fun. The thing I love most of all is that it is part of her family's memories. She uses it for her Christmas village during the holiday season, and to display family pictures throughout the year.
