Hurricane Katrina caused much damage in September of 2005. Several pine and oak trees on my property were either seriously damaged or blown over. Several months after the cleanup, I was showing some of my grandchildren the stump from one of the pine trees that I lost. Hannah stood on the stump and said, "Grandpa, this looks like a heart". A few days later I "sliced" off a section of the stump and put it in my barn to dry, not knowing just what I would do with it. In early 2008 with our 45 wedding anniversary approaching in June, I decided to do something with the "heart" to make a few points with my bride. Using my Ryobi tools I created what you see in the attached photo. If you are interrested, let me know.
