Lighthouse

I had 2 old and broken down adirondeck chairs which were headed for the garbage but I decided since the back of the seat was in okay condition that I should use them on something. So the idea of building a lighthouse was born. I cut the parts as needed with my ryobi mitre saw, put it together, then decided to attach a house. Besides using the chair wood, I used wood scraps, 2 121 x 12 tiles, stones and pieces of shell from one of the Cape Cod beaches and finally, a solar landscape light. It took me several weeks doing this in my spare time. It's painted and hopefully as water proofed as possible.
