A friend of mine asked me to make him a coffee table that the top lifted up and out on it. He wanted it stained black to Mach other furniture he had. He wanted it 18 inches tall raising to 23 inches and to be open inside for storage. Also he wanted it to float in his living roo . I said no problem.
