Lemonade Stand

Built this for when we were having a garage sale so the kids could sell lemonade. Just basic 2X4 construction, all of the materials were free from local new builds trash piles :)

I cut all of the pieces to length in advance and assembled the frame with 16ga airstrike. I put the top together and attached it to the frame with a kreg pocket hole jig. Then used the 18ga airstrike to put the paneling on. I did use a table saw to make the paneling different widths for character.

The panels came primed white, but I put another white coat on, and used danish wood oil on the top to bring out the character of the old boards.

  • Such a great project! The paint/wood oil look great, too. This would also be a great place to set treats if you host an outdoor party for the kiddos.

  • Thanks! I really liked how it came out as it was the first time I used oil instead of a stain or other finish... The top boards were old weathered 2x4's so I didn't want to cover them with anything.
