Made a kitchen table using only 2x4s. Ripped all the 2x4 for a smooth finish. Applied a light stain to bring out the natural grain patterns and finished it with an epoxy coating for protection. Loved the finished product.

  • The alternating end grains look so great! Did you create this design yourself?

    • Thank you. It was inspired by a bench that had similar look. We took it a step further and made a table for my work which needed a new kitchen table.
