Kitchen Remodel

OUR KITCHEN REMODEL STORY WITH RYOBI TOOLS

We have been in need of a Kitchen remodel for several years. I didn’t like our cabinets as they weren’t real wood - had contact paper or ??? peeling/flaking. The counters were dark green and not in great condition with scratches here and there. Our floor was a disaster. We had redone our living room floor in wood about 4 years ago and raised the floor. So going into the kitchen was a step down about 1 inch (sort of a trip hazard!). We planned to do the kitchen floor sooner but then got busy and financially couldn’t afford it.

Our wonderful son, for Christmas, gave my Husband a $400 gift certificate for Home Depot .
Then we got a coupon in the mail from Home Depot for 24 months with no interest. At the same time – a few days later the Hickory Cabinets, which I have been wanting so much, went on 20% off!!! Yeah, we decided to go for it.

We moved all our appliances out of the kitchen and then ripped out all of the old cabinets. We gutted the whole kitchen ourselves – what a job.

Next - wafer board and a higher grade wood on top over the whole floor. We were able to get a beautiful linoleum remnant - high grade but the end of a roll being discontinued.
We installed the cabinets ourselves with our Ryobi Drills & Nail Guns – so exciting!!!

Same sink - new faucet & Microwave from Home Depot!!!

We had new counters made - My Husband installed.

Beautiful Blue Pine woodwork around the window and everywhere else.

All tools used for the remodel were Ryobi from Home Depot. My Husband loves his Ryobi Tools.

I LOVE OUR NEW KITCHEN!!!
