Kitchen remodel

We have recently closed on our house and it needs a lot of updates . It was built in the 70's and hadn't been changed or updated since then. I am in the process of redoing the the whole house and I just completed the kitchen. As one can see from the picture it has came a long way in the past few weeks.

I started by removing the walls I could, to allow more space and to give it a more open feel. Then I planked the walls using 1/8" eucaboard that I ripped down to 6" to give it a country cottage feel. I was able to reuse the existing cabinets by rearranging and adding a few more until I achieved the look I wanted. The light over the dinning table is a lantern I got from Hobby lobby that I converted into a light. The table was made from scrap wood I had left over from previous projects. All and all I am happy with the results, and short of the appliances and flooring I achieved the look I wanted for a very reasonable price.
