My kitchen was looking a little rough and we had some family visiting from out of the country so we decided to give the kitchen a major facelift. I started by removing the existing doors, removed all of the hardware, and thoroughly sanded the frames and doors to clean everything up. Used spare MDF from a previous project to add a simple frame to the cabinet door to give it a shaker style look. After that I repainted the frames, put down new shelf liner, and then repainted the doors. Then came new hardware, I rehung the doors and ta-dah! New kitchen. Even painted our oven to match and I LOVE the way it looks now.
