I took some old fence slats and cut their length (Ryobi mitre saw) the same as the depth of the outer shelf wall in the pantry leading to the garage. Using Ryobi 18v nailer, attached 7 slats horizontally to two vertical slats (on the outer edge) cut in length to match the 7 horizontals. Sanded the face (Ryobi Orbit Sander) and painted the whole project white. Lettered the project with scripture from Matthew 16:19. Drilled pilot holes with Ryobi drill and screwed in tea cup hooks. Attached the whole project to the shelf outer wall with 4 wood screws (Ryobi Impact Driver). Simple, but my wife loved it and our family of four has a central place for all our keys.
