This chair goes perfect in a garden. Our daughter likes to be outside with mom when she's doing gardening so we made her this bunny chair to sit next to mom and help. I used scrap wood to build this but it can be done much easier with dimensional lumber.
For the seat, cut a 1x10 to the length you want the seat to be. Use a jigsaw to cut a radius on the corners.
For the legs, cut a 2x2 to length for 4 legs. Cut a 5 degree angle on both ends so the legs splay out and are more sturdy.
For the ears, cut a 1x3 to length for the 2 ears. Use a jigsaw to shape the bunny ears.
Use a router to roundover all edges and then sand everything smooth.
I used glue and pocket hole screws to attach everything together.
Paint the chair whatever color you like. Then draw on the bunny face and paint in all the details. Finish with at least 3 coats of polyurethane.
