Kenzie's dream house

I first got my inspiration when I saw a similar bed at pottery barn but wasn't willing to spend thousands of dollars on. After doing some research online I knew this was the bed I was going to build for my daughters 3rd birthday. Everything was going smooth with the project until I realized how large this bed was and how much room it was starting to take up. Luckily the Iowa winter decided to be a bit mild so I was able to move outside ams just had to put things away at night. After I was finishing all my friends began lining up wanting me to build this or something similar to it.

  • This project would be any kiddo's dream come true! This is absolutely beautiful. It's great that there's plenty of storage space underneath, too. What kind of wood did you use/would you recommend?

    • I used select pine from Home Depot. I knew we were just going to be painting vs staining so felt pine was good, plus I did a lot of pockets holes for everything and pine is far easier to drill in to
