We wanted a sweet looking swing and this one by Jaime Costiglio was perfect. She suggested cedar wood and we love the look of the wood grain. I'm thinking we will use teak oil on it. The instructions were pretty good and it didn't actually take too long to build. Here are the Jaime Costiglio plans we used-

    • Do the chains rub on the arms of the swing?
      By holland5949, on July 31, 2018
    • No they don't rub. I thought they might when I first saw this and considered cutting out a section for it but it wasn't necessary.

  • This swing is much more solid then anything I've seen at the store. It's a shame they can't offer well built products like they used to.

    • I agree, this one is solid. We'd purchased one at the store and it fell apart within a year.
