LED's are the greenest bulbs out there. When my wife wanted updated lighting in the kitchen, LED was the clear choice. Cheaper to use, and last forever. Since it was in an older house and just pulling out recessed lighting and replacing it with can lights wasn't going to be easy. I came up with something that looks good and is creative. She loves it and I can see our meter running slower than ever. I also used some wood that most people would have called trash and just burned. To us it was perfect character wood. Hope this gives someone out there ideas on their own project.
