Industrial Farmhouse Table with Chevron Tabletop Detail

I entered this table into the October 2016 #igbuilderschallenge on Instagram and it won the grand prize!! Whitney and Ashley from Shanty2Chic as well as Clint Harp from Harp Design Co. (my 3 idols) we're the judges and chose my entry as the grand prize winner! I. Was. Floored! I was more happy that the 3 woodworkers I've been admiring for over a year chose my entry than the actually winning the prizes! The prizes were the icing on the cake!

My dining table was made according to the plans provided by Shanty2Chic. I modified the tabletop with chevron detail in the middle and added some industrial accents with hardware from Simpson Strongtie and simple bolts and washers, which can be found at The Home Depot. And of course, my Ryobi tools got me through the entire build.
