I decided to make this industrial bar stool as part of this month’s challenge. This is the second time I have worked with this type of pipe and I’m a big fan of the look. For this project I decided to make a stool for my garage as I currently don’t have a place to sit and I ultimately rely on flipping a bucket as a chair. I’m really happy with the end result. After cleaning the pipes to remove the greasy/slippery coating I connected all the legs support. For the round seat I used some leftover 2x6s that I had laying around in my garage. I used a Kreg Jig to connect them and a jig saw to cut the circle top. I used an orbital sander on the top and bottom of the seat top and finished it with a light coat of stain. I’m really happy with the end result.
