Simple, yet really sturdy, to make dog crate using Ryobi 18-Volt One+ tools. It consists of 1.25" select Pine (knot-free) for a frame, 1/2" bars, floating floor, pale green oak paint (Valspar), dark Walnut stain and sealant, and trimmed all the way around (inside and out). ~$350 in materials

  • What is the floor made of? We have puppies and they arent quite house broken yet and I'm afraid to have a wood floor in case of "accidents."

    • The floor is 1/2" maple plywood that was sealed around the corners with silicone, quarter round on top (to cover the silicon), followed by 5 coats of polyurethane.
