The night before traveling to Gainesville, FL for my wife's treatment of brain cancer, I saw hurricane Irma possible a week away from us. Last minute I grabed my boots rain gear and tossed my ryobi radio lantern two batteries and a charger into my drill bag and we were off. When we arrived I purchased two more Batts. The lantern has 12 hrs run time, radio has USB port to charge my phone. In the car is the in vehicle charger if needed to recharge. While we lost power for half a day, we had light, radio, and most of all could communicate with family to let them know we were safe. My in-laws went to my house and took the two flashlights, two batts, and two chargers I had left there to compliment their own ryobi products. Good thing, they had no power for 6 days. The cost of these accessories is minimal compared to their usefulness for one week. I know this is a bizarre project but it was mine for 09/2017.
