This table is made from Caribbean Pine and framed in African Mahogany. The bench was made from construction lumber and is patterned after a Shanty 2 Chic Bench. The pine was pulled from the bottom of a river and purchased in its rough form, so all the milling, which the exception of jointing an edge, was done in my garage. The pine came with numerous holes where insects has burrowed in to make a home, so the holes were filled with clear epoxy. The finish on the pine and mahogany is a satin wipe on poly.

  • Fantastic job prepping and finishing the wood, this is such a unique piece! Love how you've decorated the table as well.
